Professor Vladimir Jovanovich, born in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 1937, is a acknowledged and well-known expert in teaching solfeggio (aural perception and awareness). With a comprehensive musical education (BA in Music Theory followed by BA in Conducting and Composition at the University of Arts, School of Music in Belgrade (Serbia)) he stands out as not only a prolific author of 18 books on the subject, but also as a innovator with his unique methods that were widely accepted throughout the ex.Yugoslavia.
Mr. Jovanovich, along with teaching solfeggio for over 30 years at College of Music Mokranjac in Belgrade (Serbia), he has done many workshops and seminars across Balkan States (Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia,...) as well as being involved in stucturing the National Curriculum for Music Education in ex. Yugoslavia. His books were published by many national and international publishing houses. Also, Mr. Jovanovich received numerous awards for his pedagogical work by many national educational institutions.
